The city runs on an odd/even system. If your business or home address ends in an odd number, you’re allowed to water your lawn on odd calendar days, likewise if your address ends in an even number. The city has a ban on watering between the hours of Noon and 5 PM every day.
If you have new seed or sod, you can go to city hall and get a permit that will allow you to water your lawn for 14 continuous days.
If you’re caught violating the ordinance, you can expect to pay a $25 fine.
